Our founder, Sheila Smith, and her husband Matt experienced those same challenges as young professionals priced out of the housing market. Sheila faced the instability of renting – forced to move twice in two years when landlords reclaimed their properties. Matt had to move back in with his parents to save for a deposit.
BeHomed was launched in 2024 as a new branch of Sheila’s established property business, built on years of hands-on buy-to-let experience and the belief that there is a better way.
